a unique exercise in narrative through image. we were directed to write stories of a time when we felt like an outsider providing as many visual details and clues as possible. we then swapped our outsider stories and were then directed to illustrate the other person's story based on the details given.

my biggest goal in this exercise was to make sure the image of the car (make, model, color)was exactly as the author of the story indicated. it was a success and when the day came to unveil our illustrations of our peers' stories the author of my story was amazed that i had illustrated his exact car.
